Logo
Huron’s logo embodies the purposeful collaboration on which Huron was founded. Two links of a chain signify the strength inherent within each and every partnership. The link is paired with clean, sophisticated typography that embodies both the credibility of Huron’s legacy as well as the promise of its future.
Website
In 2020, Huron initiated a complete rebuild of its company website. I worked within a specialized team to re-imagine and design all page templates, user experience, and user interaction on our website in an extremely condensed, 6-month, timeline.
I worked alongside lead designer, Nathalie Rock, to pinpoint problem areas within the old website design and develop all core wireframes, menus, and forms based on requirements provided by our internal Digital Team. Nathalie and I also took ownership of developing a new web style guide to maintain consistency with our established brand standards and re-define type hierarchy, color usage, iconography, and other styles across the entirety of Huron’s website.
Web Forms
Previous iterations of Huron’s forms had no differentiation in styling, no field labels, and were not broken into sections of data. I worked with our data and analytics team to pinpoint unnecessary form fields and pushed the implementation of a one column form approach for better usability.
Web Assesments
Huron’s assessments previously had no design guidelines and limited governance, which resulted in very low usership and even lower completion rate. On top of that they were handled on an ad-hoc basis, so they were a pain for our development team.
I collaborated with developement to pinpoint problem areas and design limitations. I opted for a design that was mobile friendly, allowing users to easily complete assessments while on the go. We implementd an auto-advance feature and included a progress bar. I also increased the size of buttons and clickable areas for ease of use and to provide helpful psychological and visual queues.
Brand Collateral
In my role at Huron, I act as a brand ambassador - defining and ensuring proper usage and placement of our logo, imagery, and all other design collateral in a myriad of situations.
